Primary Purpose Group meets in trailer “B” (middle room) behind The Johns Creek Presbyterian Church in Johns Creek, GA. Primary Purpose Group is self-supporting and does not accept outside contributions. The Group pays rent to The Johns Creek Presbyterian to hold meetings on the property in trailer “B”. Our meetings are children friendly, enabling many of our single parent members to attend with their children. We provide facilities in an adjacent room for their care. Each meeting is non-smoking, although we provide an area for smoking outside please respect the the property we are tenants of the Church. currently we hold six meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous each week The Saturday meeting is open to anyone who would like to attend and learn something about how AA functions. All the other meetings are for members only. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. Each meeting lasts one hour.
Primary Purpose Group will provide guest speakers to other non AA related groups who wish to learn more about Alcoholics Anonymous.
Primary Purpose Group of “Alcoholics Anonymous”. The name refers to one of the traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous which states “…Our primary purpose is to carry its message to the alcoholic who still suffers”.
